We recieved an answer to prayer last night. Tracey Wiseman from the Dollar General Child Development Center emailed yesterday to let us know they have a spot for Ella Grace opening December 8!!! We've anxiously been waiting for them to let us know if they were going to have room for her when I go back to work in Jan. Now we can be at peace that Ella Grace will be well taken care. Although we haven't experienced the baby rooms at DG, Katie Marie started there when she was two (when I went back to work). We are familiar with the staff in those rooms and know they are loving and pour their hearts into taking care of those babies!! I know I will be a mess when I have to leave Ella Grace in Jan., but I am at peace about the decision to return to work.
I love teaching at Lakeside....our related arts faculty make it all worth it....couldn't imagine being there without them. Katie Marie will be changing schools come January. Although Station Camp has been a good experience thus far, I think having her with me at Lakeside will make her elementary school experience more unique. I also love the fact of bringing her to a smaller student body and more family oriented faculty. I know she'll love it!!
We should have some new pictures posted tomorrow evening. Our friends, Jason and Heather Steffy, along with their two kids, Eli and Anna Rose, are going with us to Franklin's Pumplinfest Saturday. We went last year and took Anna Rose with us. Katie Marie and Anna had a great time and it is such fun for the kids.....games, face painting, fancy fingernail painting, balloon animals, blowup slide, candy, petting zoo and also booths for the adults.
