Two months old!

Ella Grace had her 2 month check-up today. She weighed in at 11 lbs. 1 oz., and has grown to 22 inches. Dr. Johnson said everything looks great and he reassured me again that she looks perfectly healthy. (Since he was told that we previously miscarried with a downs syndrome baby, he has watched her carefully for any red flags.) She is a true blessing!!! Ella Grace did fantastic with her shots. She cried for about a 5 seconds and then fell asleep. Her cry just broke my heart. It wasn't a mad cry...she stuck out that bottom lip as if someone had hurt her feelings. She has been a little unsettled this afternoon, but I'm sure she'll sleep well tonight. She's been pretty consistent the last couple of nights....sleeping about a 5 - 6 hour span from the time we put her down around 9 pm. We just feel so lucky that she's an easy baby. And as her daddy can testify, she LOVES her mommy already. I walked in the house this evening after going out for a couple hours and she was crying as Michael was getting her dressed after a bath. As soon as I walked into her room and spoke, she stopped crying and smiled. I LOVE IT!! She just cooed and "talked" with me as if to say, "Hey mommy, where have you been?"
The above picture is from our fun trip to Franklin on Saturday for the annual Pumplinfest. The kiddos had fun...lots of games and candy. The weather was great!
