Katie Marie's Sickness

Katie Marie got to enjoy some time with her cousins this weekend at their Nana's house. But when she got home late Sunday night, she had broken out all over her arms, legs and torso. After taking her to the Dr. Monday morning, the Dr. really couldn't pinpoint what was wrong. He stated that it could be a allergic reaction from something she had come in contact with or a rare form of Chicken Pox. But either way, her course of treatment would be the same....a steriod, antibiotic, benedryl, motrin, 3 to 4 soaks in the bathtub in Aveeno, and frequent coatings of calamine lotion. I'm exhausted! Michael had to go out of town last night to Atlanta for a Tuesday morning meeting which left me trying to get all the percriptions...over the counter meds...getting to school to leave lesson plans for a sub...picking up Ella Grace from DG. Then our night was so-so....Katie Marie was up at 1,3,and 5 complaining that her spots itched. Ella Grace cryed out about 4:15 but never woke up, just took a bottle and passed out until 7:45 this morning. Today, I took Ella Grace to DG, mainly to get her out of the house in case KM is contagious. KM has been a trooper! She doesn't seem to mind taking all these meds and enjoys being able to be in the tub so often! But I know she's tired too...she has dark circles under her eyes. We have a Drs. appt. on Thursday morning for her to be rechecked to see if this course of treatment has helped. So far I don't see a big difference, but am hopeful that by tomorrow I will see an improvement!
